your e-mail so we can all see it?
In general, such requirements are illegal. If the job listing says what you
say it does, I suggest you contact them and tell them that. If they don't
change the listing so it's nondiscriminatory, I suggest you file a complaint
with the Florida Department of Human Rights (or whatever the state agency is
called).
It's essential that we shoot down these kinds of job listings whenever they
pop up; otherwise, there will be no end of them.

Hi all.
On the following URL I found a job posting for an English instructor at a
community college in Florida. Curiously enough, one of the requirements for
applying was "acceptable eyesight". Do you think it is acceptable to put
such a condition for English teaching despite the fact that so many blind
persons are teaching English at various universities? Can something be done
