Hi, all. I began my reply to this post before I read it all.
Massage Therapists can be successful, but let me tell you, it is
intense training, and nothing to jump into. If any one has ideas
for this career goal, please, please contact me, first. There
are things you'll need to be aware of before beginning your
training, which, I do encourage, and VR isn't always aware of the
obstacles you'll face through said training. I have resources,
and advise to share, and again, having experienced this already,
please contact me, first! And, just to be sure, I'm not going to
try to sell you something first, I only wish to head off some
hard times ahead for a potential Massage Therapist.

>Hi All,
>The best way in my opinion to work from home is to start a
business, and to do this first obtain some training. Get with
your VR counselor and take it from there. Business ideas? I
know of one, and I'm training for it. I'm training to become a
piano technician at the School of Piano Technology for the Blind,
pianotuningschool.org. Or one could become a massage therapist.
I hear that this is a good career choice for those of us who are
vision impaired or blind, or blind depending how we perceive
things. My theory, get with VR, THAT'S THEIR JOB in all honesty,
to help and most of the time they're glad to do it. Just get a
counselor you can work with and once you two are on the same page
muddling through VR red tape will be more enjoyable.
