Hi Josh, Craig here.  I used to teach travel at the Colorado Center.  If
you're going to Colorado to attend the full time independent living
program, I'm not sure how much time you could devote to work.  The
program is rigorous and, depending on how much effort you put into your
studies, etc... it could be very difficult to pursue both the program
and full time work.  You might be able to swing a part time gig, but if
you're serious about doing well at Colorado, I suggest you don't worry
about full time employment.  I know that there is an employment
specialist at the center and they could maybe help you find a part time
job and possibly an internship or full time employment after you
complete the program.  See what they say.
Good luck, I have nothing but fond memories of the center and you'll be
experiencing something truly unique, challenging and wonderful.
