[Jobs] A note on work from home jobs.

Hello.
Alpine Access's platforms do not work well with Jaws, however I do know a
Window Eyes user as well as one who uses ZoomText who have had successful
employment situations with them. In a perfect universe I suppose companies
should develop programs to work with both, however it seems that where Jaws
doesn't always work with something Window Eyes will. And of course--they
are not required to make them work with Jaws specifically...
On the working from home question...
It is very difficult to sift through the scams to find the legitimate job
opportunities.
If you or anyone else on this list is interested in work from home job
opportunities, I recommend getting a membership to Homejobstop.com.
http://homejobstop.com/
While there is a $25 membership fee, it is only a one time fee, and the
individuals that run the site do the homework to determine what is scam and
what is not, and will only post info on real job opportunities.
Another one to check out is LiveOps.
http://liveops.com/
I hope this is helpful.
Best of luck.

do something; and because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the
something that I can do." -- Hellen Keller, American author and lecturer

Subject: [Jobs] alpine access
Hello:
I am writing to ask all the people here on this list if they heard of a
company called alpine access. I just got an interview with them but don't
know how accessible their programs might be or if any visually impaired
people work for them. If so I would definitely like more information on the
interview process and any obstacles they have encountered while working for
them.
secondly, are there any companies that are legitimate to work from home? Or
perhaps directories of companies. I'd greatly appreciate any responses.
Thanks
Jessica
