Glad to have played a small part in your Hawaii adventure, Mike.  Upon
your arrival, please give my good friend, Joe Cordova, my greetings.

I also ask that you continue to be an active leader on this list.  While
I am now happy employed, I believe it is important that I continue to
try to do what I can to help other blind people achieve their employment
dreams.  When one of us succeeds, we all succeed.

I wanted to share with you on this list my new job! 
I am in the very latter stages of finishing my dissertation leading to a
PhD.  So I began job hunting this year and in August I found a
professional marriage!
I am now the new "Executive Director" of the Assistive Technology
Resource Centers of Hawaii.
I found this job on this list, Noelle posted it back in January and who
would have thought it was destine to be mine.  My first interview was
over the telephone and as soon as I hung up from that call I knew that
it was my job.  The attraction on both sides was evident and the
goodness of fit was perfect.  It is an awesome opportunity for me to
have  leadership  in serving people with disabilities.  Just to bad it
had to be in Hawaii...
Well as you know even people have to sacrifice and work in Hawaii, so
just call me the sacrifice...
I wish all of you great success in your job searching and thank you for
allowing me to share my good news.
