Good morning,
  It's been several months since I had anything to say on this list, but I
had been meaning to ask about persons in real estate with vision
impairments.  I'm a rehab. Instructor and have a client who had worked in
real estate and is now losing her vision to Diabetic Retinopathy.  She would
like to get back into real estate, working from home, in some capacity and
doesn't know what is out there.  I'm not that familiar with the real estate
field and its many aspects and thought I could get some input from this
list.  I used to know a person in real estate who is totally blind, but have
lost contact with him and he is probably retired now.  She still has some
way to go in her rehab. Training.  She has used a computer as a sighted
person in her real estate job before, but would need to learn JAWS now.  I
don't know why her DBS counselor hasn't started her with JAWS yet.  Does
anyone have any suggestions as to what she can do from home or even in a
real estate office just to get  started?  She is fairly new to vision
impairment and does not know about all the assistive technology out there
and what she can be capable of.  And I don't know of all the areas in real
estate.  As with most of us, she needs the extra income.  Any input would be
greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
