Ditto, Elaine. It seems that the more one makes, the more perqs one gets.
I have a sighted niece who's a Ph.D. in pharmacy; she had her first move and
now a second move paid for and handled and lodging paid for, too. Mine have
always been brute strength, find a family member type deals except for once.
It's all down to money just like everything else.

These jobs do not assist with relocation. If they really want to
aggressively help those with disabiities it seems reasonable that they could
offer at least a partial assistance. It is talking out of both ends of their
mouths to offer up these jobs and encourage those with disaiblities to apply
who typically have far lower salaries than other individuals and then refuse
to pay for relocation or at least assist with it. If the person lives in
that town that is great but like anything else there are people with
disabilities all across the nation who could probably benefit from such
positions with a little bit of relocation assistance. The cabinet officer
for the dept of labor didn't pay for her relocation and she is making a
major salary. It just amazes me what we toss to the disability community.
