Subject: [Blindmath] Position open at ViewPlus


Hello listers.  Many of you knew Tom Johnston, the bright young man from the
UK who worked for several years as a ViewPlus consultant on all matters
having to do with braille.  Tom passed away a few weeks ago.  Jeff has
written a tribute to Tom that you can find on the ViewPlus web site.  

We cannot really replace Tom, so we have decided to create a regular
employee position in the products group at the ViewPlus home office in
Corvallis, OR.  This is intended as an entry level position, but
applications from more experienced braille readers will be accepted.  We'd
love to have someone who speaks math and science if possible.  So if you
know any good braille readers who would like to move to beautiful Oregon,
please direct them to the position discription at

Note that this is a direct link.  ViewPlus does not have an "employment"
