I don't have personal experience with either of these organizations, but 
since they are geared toward low vision and blindness, they are apt to be 
more helpful than trying to find something on your own or waiting for the 
Commission to assist.

Since I'm writing to this list, I might as well
ask...
Does anyone who is living in the New York City
area know of any good resources for blind people
to look for jobs?  I'm having a HELL of a time
trying to do this on my own.  I got in touch with
the NY Commission for the blind, but red tape
will cause any help from them to be severly
delayed.  I've tried Monster, Craigslist, temp
agencies, etc... and so far nothing.
Just a rant, but if anyone seriously has any
suggestions, please let me know.
