[Jobs] Some Companies Firing Employees for Leaving Comments OnBlogs

I know someone that was fired for what he posted on his own blog on his own
time, not even in the workplace, and it had nothing to do with where he
worked. I think that is taking things a bit too far. If the person performs
their job well, and doesn't reflect the company in a negative way, then what
they post on their own time should have no bearing on their job. If someone
is posting on their blog when they should be working that is a different
story. I've also heard of employers looking at at a potential employee's
blog before hiring them.
