Frequently, one can get around a driver's license requirement by
discussing how one would do the job in a different way or with a
reasonable accommodation.  In addition, sometimes there is a driver's
license requirement listed when the intent is really to require that the
individual have valid identification.  Though it is not ideal for job
ads to include a driver's license requirement as it may discourage some
people from applying, but if I were job hunting, I would still want to
see those announcements as there may be a way around that requirement.
