[Jobs] question about web links and advertising

To answer the medical transcriptionist questions.
Some places will hire you if you are familiar with the terminology and have
experience transcribing or they know you to be a good typist, but most
places want you to have a certificate of completion from some course or
other. There are several online courses that you can get through in a
matter of months, and as Michael said, junior and vocational schools often
offer them also, usually they take a year or two to complete. As for actual
certification, you can't become a "certified" medical transcriptionist until
you have completed 2 years of work and taken exams given by the American
association for medical transcription.
For anyone looking for more information on medical transcribing, the best
place to go is to the AAMT's website at www.aamt.org. Another good site for
info is www.mtdesk.com.
