Bank Examiner Positions (People with Disabilities
Being Encouraged to Apply)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
has begun its spring national recruitment campaign for
filling vacancies at the entry-level for the Assistant
National Bank Examiner (ANBE) career now
through February 28, 2007.
Candidates should be high-caliber recent graduates who
have earned a four-year degree or soon to be
graduates who are pursuing a four-year degree leading
to major study in accounting, banking, commercial or
banking law, economics, finance, and marketing, or any
other discipline closely related to the National Bank
Examiner (NBE) career. This recruiting year
approximately 150 candidates are being
sought. Students with disabilities who meet the basic
four-year bachelor's degree qualifications and may
be interested in being considered for full-time
permanent employment as an Assistant National Bank
Examiner are encouraged to apply.
Potential candidates who can meet the National Bank
Examiner's primary job functions such as travel up
to 60%, communications (e.g., verbal and written),
team work, and independence can find out more about
this opportunity on OCC's web site at www.occ.gov or
www.occ.treas.gov for inclusion in the ANBE
employment process.
Students must send their resume during the unsolicited
resume period that ends February 28, 2007. The open
period for accepting resumes will not be extended
beyond the February 28, 2007, post mark or email
date. Use of email to transmit a resume is
preferred. Also a college transcript is required, an
unofficial transcript is acceptable during the initial
application process, and should be sent with the
resume package.

to find the entry-level Assistant National Bank
Examiner announcement.
At the Home Page look to the far left column to find
Careers at the OCC, click-on it.
On the Careers at the OCC page, click-on the link
entitled - Entry Examiner Careers.
Follow the announcement instructions.
Background information:
Special note: The starting base salary has been
increased to $44,300.00 dollars.
The OCC has four district locations and field offices
located throughout each district. The district
locations are as follows: Dallas, Texas; Chicago,
Illinois; New York, New York; and Denver, Colorado
(See Location Preference Form in the announcement and
complete it).
