JOB REQUIREMENT S          Basic knowledge of Social Security,
Medical
Assistance, subsidized housing and other public benefits

as well as vocational rehabilitation is essential.  Good
communication
skills; persistence and  patience; 

ability to manage multiple tasks; and strong team skills also
necessary.
2 yrs experience working directly 

with individuals with disabilities and a B.A. or equivalent is
required.
Must pass SSA security screening and successfully complete SSA
training program.

Community Work Incentive Coordinator

Nonprofit seeks a bright, affable and energetic individual to join
our
team of Community Work Incentive Coordinators (CWIC).  The
Connection
provides answers about the impact of work on public benefits, so
that
people with disabilities can see their choices & take advantage of
life's opportunities. 

Not a human resources or benefits administration position. This is
a
unique opportunity to provide individual consultation to people
with
disabilities about employment and its effect on Social Security
Disability benefits, Medical Assistance, subsidized housing and
other
public programs. The Connection provides services statewide.
Full-time
position.
