Position overview: We are seeking an organizer to help develop
increasing avenues for civic engagement for communities of color in the
movement to build a family friendly America.  Working collaboratively
with our team, the organizer will build collaboration with other
organizations and leverage online, on-the-ground, phone grassroots
mobilization strategies. This is a job that requires sophistication in
helping to create an infrastructure for MomsRising.org that ensures that
our campaigns address the needs of America's diverse families.  We will
develop proactive engagement strategies and also rapidly respond to
breaking issues that impact America's multicultural families.  This
position will focus on organizing at a national level with some targeted
actions in selected states with the goal of bringing diverse women's
voices to the political dialog.

About you:  You should be a self-starter, have excellent writing skills
and be a good team player.  Strong project management skills are
required.  Experience or familiarity with online organizing is
important.  Experience with or the willingness to learn the necessary
technology skills will be critical.  Political or advocacy experience is
also helpful.  The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. 

This is a fast-paced job. You'll need to be able to turn on a dime so
when there's a new idea on Monday, you can test it and put it in front
of 100,000 people and multiple organizations by Tuesday.  Experience
working in a lead role on multicultural issues in a network of
organizations is a plus.

offered and flexible work hours are negotiable.
