Hello listeners,
I had a very special guest this week on the Eyes on Employment talk show.
Sead Bekric, talked about how he lost his sight while playing at a soccer
field in Bosnia as shelling from tanks opened fire on his friends and class
mates while watching and playing the game. He was left for dead on that
field. When a viewer saw the story and his picture on world television, she
had him and his family flown to Los Angeles to literally be saved. Surviving
his injuries, he later went to school, knowing nothing about America,
English or resources of blindness. Four years later, he graduated with
honors. With some help from people, he was able to win in the battle of
blindness and is now helping people wage peace with work with the help of
his brother to teach the blind and visually impaired to go back to work.
Listen to his tragedy to triumph story and hear how he has won the war over
his disability and won the hearts of a country. Go to:
www.acbradio.org
Go to Mainstream and listen to this wonderful story. It will air at 4:00 am
central time this morning and every four hours after that throughout the
day. I think you will have a new lease on life and your own battles with
blindness. I know I did. I hope you will tune and then tell me what you
thought about the show.
Best regards,
