This Employment & Technology Institute was
developed by Betsy Fabricant, Director of Recreation and
Residential Programs, and Dawn M. Suvino, Director of
Information Services and Technology Training and Nancy
D. Miller, Executive Director of VISIONS.
The keynote address: "Cornerstone to Success: Work"
was delivered by Dr. Karen Wolffe, Director,
Professional Development and CareerConnect at the
American Foundation for the Blind.
Dr. Wolffe discusses the importance of work in the
lives of people with visual disabilities. She shares
information about current employment rates and
proposes ideas for how to improve those rates. Please
note that the playing time is approximately 52
minutes.

for retirement.
