[Jobs] computer

Albert,

You are still being too passive. It is not a company's responsibility to
tell you about itself. That information is already on its website. Please
study it and take notes. If they have an annual report, read it.

Then tailor your resume to meet the company's needs. Make it look as much
as possible like any job listings you see, and use the company's own words
in it when possible. Screeners, both human and electronic, look for that.

Use your cover letter to explain why you are a good fit for the company, and
how your qualifications make you the best person for the job. They
appreciate that too, and it shows that you have done your homework.

It should go without saying, but never lie on your resume. Some very high
profile executives have gotten fired recently for lying on their resumes.
Nobody wants to hire a dishonest person.

After you turn in an application, follow up with a phone call or e-mail
unless they tell you not to do so. Ask them for an interview, and if they
give you one, go to it in person.

Never ask for a phone interview because it would be more convenient for you.
They'll interpret that as laziness and rule you out.

Good luck.

I went to indeed.com and looked up some companies and applied. I hope I hear

back some of the companies call me for interviews or maybe they can tell me
about their companies
