Albert,
What type of work are you looking for?
I'd suggest contacting companies that hire for the type of work your
wanting to do, even if they aren't hiring at the moment.
The resume posting sites get so many resumes posted, you need to
contact the companies you want to work for directly.
I think you'll have better luck.

PS if you've ever thought about tele-commuting, let me know and I'll
send you some websites and tips that may be helpful.
