915 N. Oakland Street, Room 114, Arlington, VA (1 block from Virginia Square Metro). to find out about association jobs and how to find them.  Our guest speaker will be Carylann Pishner, Director of Member Relations at the American Society of Association Executives, the umbrella group for the association industry.
 
Carylann will talk about the wide spectrum of associations, what they do, what sorts of positions are available, how to research jobs, and how to apply.  She will be joined by two longtime EXCEL! members:  Paul D’Addario who works for the American Society for Industrial Security, and Stephanie Mensh who has extensive health care association experience.   Paul and Stephanie will provide their own perspectives on associations, particularly on their commitment to hire people with disabilities.
 
ASAE is the membership organization and voice of the association profession. Founded in 1920, ASAE now has more than 22,000 association CEOs, staff professionals, and industry partner members.  ASAE Career Headquarters (www.
