Development Coordinator,

The Outdoors for All Foundation

Job summary: As a member of the Resource Development Team, coordinate
fundraising efforts to support year-round outdoor recreational programs
for children
and adults with disabilities. In coordination with the Development
Director, duties include promotion and planning of fundraising events,
direct mail appeals,
handling related administrative tasks and solicitation and cultivation
of individual donors and corporate sponsorships.

Reports to: Development Director

Primary Responsibilities:

1.       Coordinate logistics for fundraising events including annual
auction, golf tournament and on-snow fundraisers. Assist with
recruitment, registration
and coordination of event participants and volunteers.

2.       Fulfill general administrative needs including coordinating
meeting and events logistics, communications, tracking receipts,
maintaining computer
and paper files.

3.       Support the solicitation and cultivation of individual donors
and corporate sponsorships.

4.       Support successful implementation of the development annual
plan.

5.       Help with coordination, production and distribution of direct
mail campaigns including annual fund appeal and newsletters. Perform
tasks related
to execution of mailings including: list development and compilation,
photocopying, printing, collating and envelope stuffing.

6.       Develop and maintain project timelines and provide progress and
donor reports.

7.       Process event donation data and manage event database.

8.       Adhere to specific budget guidelines for each event or project.

9.       Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1.       Must be detail-oriented and have demonstrated ability to work
productively as a team member, meet project timelines and expectations,
multi-task
and see projects from start to finish.

2.       Prior fundraising/event planning or nonprofit experience
preferred.

3.       Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills.  Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with
donors and prospects.
 Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor records.

4.       Commitment to a positive and team-oriented working environment.

5.       Ability to work occasional weekend days and evening events.
Some local travel required.  Must have valid Washington State driver's
license.

6.       Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with database
management, Filemaker Pro, Maestrosoft Auction software and Internet
preferred.
Desktop and web publishing skills a plus.

Closing Date:                           Open until filled

Salary Range:                          $29,000 - $34,900

Hours:                                      40 hours/week, Monday -
Friday, flexible schedule depending on event commitments.

Benefits:                                  $220 per month medical, two
weeks vacation, 8 paid holidays, sick leave, retirement plan and Summit
at Snoqualmie
season pass.
