[Jobs] Question about a company

Charlotte: I looked at the website for Home Instead and it appears to be
similar in nature to a home health company but limited to caring for
senior citizens. There are some other companies that do this too.
The job duties are apt to be similar in nature to those of home maker
assistants found in many home health agencies. Home maker assistants
typically do some light housekeeping, sometimes meal preparation, may
occasionally take a client to appointments, shopping, etc. The jobs with
Home Instead could also involve provide adult in home day care that would
allow a spouse or caregiver to get out of the house while leaving their
loved one to be watched by someone to be sure they are safe. These could
be individuals who have some dementia or who have physical limitations.
Have you searched for a local franchise in your area and determined
whether they have current openings? Depending on your skills, ability to
get to and from the locations they would send you to, etc. it might be a
good fit for you for part time employment. I checked their website and
looked up different franchise locations in a couple of states around me,
and it appears to be legitimate. That's not to say that every franchise
is well run, but I don't see anything on the parent company's website that
is a red flag for me.
Hope this helps.

[Jobs] Question about a company
Hello. I was wondering if anyone heard about a company called home
instead,
located at www.hominstead.com. As I look for a small part-time job, I
came
across this through a friend and liked what I saw but have a small weird
feeling about it. I understand one can be hired to provide personal
assistance services and nonmedical companionship to senior citizens. They
don't really talk about what kind of people they want nor is a starting
hourly wage given.
I hope someone answers this question because it seems like my last
question
or food for thought was ignored or perhaps no one had ideas or experiences
to share.
Charlotte
