In the pacific NW, court reporters are getting laid off right and left
and replaced with closed captioned video transcription. I'd check
really thoroughly before jumping into those waters Again, just my
opinion. Pam Maxon

There are blind court reporters. You could post your inquiry to the
blindlaw listserve on nfbnet as well.

Hello. My name is Nicky and I am trying to decide what my next career

should be. I am going back and forth between Medical Transcriptionist

and Stenographer. They're both about equal in my mind. I was
wonderinf if there were any blind Stenographers who I might contact to

see how they do there job. I know some blind Medical transcriptionists

already. If anybody has any ideas please feel to email me either
privately or on the list. Thanks in advance.
