The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind are currently accepting 
applications for the following position(s):



School for the Blind:

Orientation and Mobility Teacher - Bachelor's Degree in Education with a 
Practicum in Orientation and Mobility and meet requirements for West 
Virginia Professional Certificate.  Master's Degree in Orientation

and Mobility is preferred.  Must have or acquire Braille Skills within one 
year of employment.



Classroom Teacher  - Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education 
required.  Must have or acquire a West Virginia Professional Certificate in 
Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or Special Education. 
Certification or master's degree in Special Education preferred.  Must have 
or acquire an additional endorsement to teach visually impaired students. 
Must have or acquire Braille skills within one year of employment date.
