Congrats, Lisa, I know, from traffic on the lists, you have been looking for
work, nothing better than a new outlook on life. Wishing you the best, and
you need not respond to this individually, just pack up and find a nice
place you can feel at home in Cincinnati. Remember, Ohio affiliate folks
will be happy to add you to that part of our Federation family.
If I don't see you in Dallas, we'll all be there having a good time knowing
our soul mates are there.

Subject: [Jobs] braille proofreader job found.
Hi everyone,
I am writing to share with you a happy moment in terms of celebration.
As some of you may know, I have been searching for a job for more than a
year and now I feel I have found my dream job. Earlier this week I took a
braille proofreading test in which I had to proofread 2 separate documents.
I had to prepare a line and page report indicating errors found throughout
the document. I submitted the test on Wednesday of this week. Little did I
know, I passed the test and was offered a job as Braille Proofreader for
Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Currently I don't have a start date yet but will be getting that information
as soon as I can locate an apartment that meets my needs.
I am planning to be at this year's national convention but will not get paid
for that week.
This job starts at $9.00 per hour at 40 hours per week. This is a full-time
position.
This is very exciting for me.
Thanks to everyone's support including Louisiana Center for the Blind. My
bell was ringing today for this occasion.
Next week I go to get some test done regarding drug screening.
A lot of work is to be done in terms of getting things ready for moving .
I have been in San Antonio, Texas for eleven years and I feel a new chapter
in my life is opening up for bigger and better opportunities. It is my hope
to network with many braille transcribers and braille proofreaders in that
part of the country.
I am glad that God answers prayers.
Talk to everyone soon.
If anyone wants to talk to me regarding braille transcription or braille
proofreading, don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks and take care.
