[Jobs] Blind People in the Recording Industry

I'm not sure I understand your question exactly but no, I don't think it 
would be very hard to find someone working in the recording industry. That's 
a pretty big industry though. From sound effects for television and movie to 
cell phone ring tones, it is an all encompassing industry. I've definitely 
met other blind people in the industry just by professional association. Not 
everyone is out there advertising. It doesn't say on the album credits 
whether or not the engineer was blind so I'm sure there is a lot of music 
and media being produced by blind individuals that isn't known by the 
general public. Like any other industry, an individual's success is going to 
be based on the quality of their work, how well they relate with other 
people, and the nature of their expertise. I can't imagine a paying client 
or someone buying a CD who really cares that much about the degree of the 
engineer's vision so as long as it doesn't diminish the quality of the 
product or process of making it.
