Lisa: congratulations on the new job. Hope the move and everything
goes smoothly. I appreciate you getting an early start on next year's
convention. I have a request: if at all possible please get an agenda
out early. I like to attend the conference and need to request
permission from my agency. It does take some time for my request to
filter through the system. So even it if is a tentative agenda I can
still use it to request permission to attend. Thanks.

Subject: [Jobs] new start date in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Hi everyone,
It won't be long until NFB National Convention will be here. I wanted
to
say that I will start work in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 10, 2006 right
after
our National Convention. I will be working at Clovernook Center for the
Blind and Visually Impaired as braille proofreader.
My old email address will be valid until June 30, 2006 when I will be
leaving San Antonio, Texas heading to Dallas, Texas for the convention.
Otherwise, I will not be accessing emails while on the road.
Once I am settled in my new location, I will have a new email address so
that anyone can contact me regarding blind office professional careers.
I am
glad that things are happening at this time. I will certainly be getting
my
batteries charged up before I get there which makes me proud of being a
dedicated Federationist to change what it means to be blind.
I also have a new address and phone number which won't go into effect
until
July 10, 2006.
If anyone needs to talk with me about anything, find me at the National
Convention in the Texas delegation since I have pre-registered in
advance
for the convention. I may be going back and forth between Texas and Ohio
that week to say hi to the new people and bye to everyone I have come to
know in Texas.
See everyone in Dallas.
