Several people come to mind who have much to say about this
field. Greg Lukens is a blind guy who has long operated Washington
Professional Systems in the DC area, a major supplier of audio
equipment nationwide. Greg has for years done recording engineering
himself and would be a great source of information.

Neal Ewers is a blind guy and professional sound recordist and lives
in Madison, Wisconsin. I believe his company is ravenswood Productions.

Finally Rob Meredith is a professional recording engineer working at
the American Printing House in Louisville, and is blind. He is very
strong on the technical and practical aspects of sound recording.

Good luck,

Bryan Bashin
