Audio-Reader in Lawrence, Kansas, is looking for a new Telephone

Supervisor to replace me after I move on the week of July 24.  Here

the advertisement for that position:

University of Kansas Audio-Reader Network.  Three-quarter-time
unclassified position beginning July 24, 2006.  Salary $14.50
hourly.
Duties:  Assumes overall responsibility for Telephone Reader
dial-in
newspaper operations; organizes recording materials for
Audio-Reader's
Telephone Reader service; supervises Telephone Reader volunteers
and
weekend staff; completes recording assignments as needed;
schedules
volunteer readers and finds substitutes as needed.  More details

Required qualifications:  Must be able to work 6 a.m. to 11:30
a.m.
Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to noon Friday; Bachelor's degree
or 2
years experience working with volunteers or 2 years experience in

broadcasting, proficiency with personal computer software such as
