[Jobs] Types of Resumes

Dave, I agree with your description. I have several versions of both
chronological and functional resumes. The functional versions highlight my
skills and then list places and dates of employment with the most recent
being listed first. I then include my education and certificates received.

In the chronological resumes, I list job-most recent to first and mention
duties, responsibilities and skills pertinent to each position. These are
followed by education with the highest degree achieved first. Finally,
certificates, group affiliation/memberships, volunteer work and/or
involvement in activities that demonstrate a particular skill or ability may
also be included. I also modify or adjust my resume to emphasize skills or
attributes that would be an asset to the position for which I am applying.
