[Jobs] Types of Resumes

Somebody asked about the difference between chronological and functional resumes.

A chronological one lists your jobs, generally most recent to first, in the order you worked, with details. If you have gaps this makes it obvious. So, some people with gaps use functional or skills-based resumes to show what they did. Can also be good if you don't have a lot of work experience. You would show a skill or ability you have, and bolster it with job and other experience/education information, ultimately listing all your skills.

At least I think so.
