[Jobs] Job opening

Hi Albert!
When I was younger I had a difficult time accepting my blindness and therefore I did not want to work to assist the blind. I sort of had an attitude that I was some how better than others and not really blind.

After about twenty years of living and working in the real world I realized that I am not so wonderful. I have experienced first hand some discrimination on the job as well as in public. People think my family does everything for me. Sometimes my family even allowed people to think that way. In 2003 I had to leave a job due to illness. The time I had to take off made me reflect about a lot of things. I have not done much in my life to help others and am not proud of that fact. I decided that it would be a privilege to be a Rehabilitation Counselor. I would be able to assist person's with disabilities to receive equipment, training and placement on a job. I would be able to educate employers about the benefits of hiring person's with disabilities. I would be able to use my life to better the lives of those around me.

I have a lot to learn.
Hope
