Dr. Maurer-

One of the items that we spoke about awhile back was SSB BART Group's
need to recruit qualified individuals with disabilities to work for our
testing organization.
One of the biggest challenges that we face over the next few months is
hiring qualified people to help satisfy the demand that we see in the
market for
our services. As part of that, we were hoping to work with the NFB to
extend employment opportunities for members of your organization.

Currently, we are looking for individuals with technical backgrounds and
experience that can work doing technology assessments, AT scripting and
provide
general 508 services. I have attached a copy of a sample job
description for your reference. We have positions available out of both
the east coast office
and the west coast office. Our most acute need is in the east coast
office so those candidates will take priority. We are willing to setup
relocation
packages for people but if someone is already in the area obviously that
makes things easier.

At this point I figure I wanted to send this to you to get some
direction on how best to coordinate this with at the NFB. Let me know
how best to proceed
and I will plan accordingly.

On a separate topic, when you have a moment we need to discuss the
current state of the Action Fund notes with SSB and their disposition
going forward.
I am sure your time has been at a premium with the conference but the
continued lack of resolution on the notes is impairing the company's
operations
and recruiting abilities - so the sooner we can get it resolved the
sooner we can get back to the business of providing a sizable return on
the investment.
I am available to discuss whenever your schedule permits so let me know
what times you have available and I will plan accordingly.

My thanks on both counts,

Timothy Stephen Springer
