BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BLIND, INC
TRAINING COORDINATOR POSITION
Non-Profit Corporation is seeking individual to conduct training in
foodservice management to legally blind individuals entering the
Randolph-Sheppard Vending Program in Virginia.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee overall management of the Randolph Sheppard Vendor
Training Program. This includes oversight of the food service operation
that is associated with the Training Program.
* Evaluate qualifications and suitability of candidates for
training
* Coordinate with Vocational Rehabilitation personnel in the
placement of candidates into the program
* Maintain files on trainees' progress during training
* Provide training in sanitation, merchandising, customer
service, and food service operations. This will include classroom
instruction and hands on training
* Provide additional training to other managers in program to
improve performance in the management of their operations
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of food service operations and knowledge of Federal,
State, and Local health regulations pertaining to operation of a food
service operation.
* Must meet requirements for qualification as a ServSafe
Instructor.
* Experience in training and instruction of food service
principles
* Strong communication skills
* High School Diploma Required- College or secondary education
preferred
* Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
Salary Range: $31,500 to 43,800
