[Jobs] Introduction

Hello Marshall,

Welcome! well, I am not even sure I could say that since I have not 
officially introduced my self to the list.  I am glad you did it, because 
that way I realized that I was being shy.
My name Is Rachel and I am originally from Brazil. I came to the USA about 9 
years a go in the pursuit of my dreams! I knew what I wanted and I was going 
to get ready for it. I thought that blind people as well as sighted people 
could do any thing if they just knew what they wanted and set their minds in 
working for it.  But then my life had a twisted turn, I was in a accident 
had to quit my judo team, and my health had a permanent change. So, I had to 
rearrange my life's and dreams, but I still think I can find out how to 
shape it in a way that I can do something I really like and would like. The 
problem is that now I am still in the process of figuring out what that 
shape or something is. I have 2 degrees and a minor, but at this moment I 
don't know what I want to do. I just know I don't want to become a 
professional student! I know I need a job in the private sector since it is 
very difficult for foreigners to get a government  based job and I need 
transportation.!  I got tired of trying to do what I wanted and having 
problems to get there. I think that is the biggest challenge like David 
said. I had to turn down 4 jobs because of the lack of reliable 
transportation.  Here there are hardly good transport. I live in Kansas and 
it is very different then NY, PA, and other places I've been in.
Actually if some one has some feedback about job and transport  I would 
really appreciate it.
Well Marshall I am just talking talking, but I just wanted to say that I 
think it is awesome that you know what you want where you are going and keep 
up the dreams and the pursuit of them.
