Yesterday I went to the real ID super site at 191 North Clark street. It's
on the Southeast corner of Clark and lake. They use the facility for a
number of purposes including early voting and other functions. The line
moves quickly in there. I don't think I was in there for more than say 15
to 20 minutes. But you do need to get a real ID if you want to fly or I
don't know maybe use amtrak? But you do have to have a real ID to fly
domestically effective May 7th 2025. I know a lot of you will be going to
convention in New Orleans. And you will need to have the real ID to fly
down there. I know a lot of you will probably be flying. Or any other kind
of flying that you're going to do. And what a federal buildings are left
you need to have a real ID to go into the Federal buildings. So I should
have mine in about 2 to 3 weeks God willing and if there's still post
office employees left.
