I first met Hap in 1977 when I was looking to buy n accordion/organ combination, and he happened to be selling one.  Our paths ctrossed several times. In the 1990’s, Hap and I shared Friday nights as entertainers at the Forest Park moose lodge. He was a federationist for a short time while I was Chicago chapter President. He and I were also Horizons for the Blind weekenders for several years.
