Persdonally, I like the Josh Grobin version better but it is much harder to sing. Andy Williams also has a version which is much like the original.
We should go with the more singable version. No need to complicate things further.

The only thing I don't like about that version is that it has a section that it repeats back to after you sing the piece all the way through. And it has a very long intro. The one that I'm thinking about about by Richard Kyley has a two measure introduction and it's in 3/4 time. It also does not go high at the end which the Josh Groban version does.
