Howdy Future Dream Makers and Risk Takers!
  Your Door Prize co-chairs, Tasabih (Abbu) Elfaki and Michelle Ault, are here, and we are gearing up to Turn Obstacles into Opportunities! We are sprinting towards the end of this Door Prize cycle and soon will be at the grand final......at Illinois State Convention! We are racing to the finish line and we know at Friday night Idol, everyone will shine! We are collecting door prizes along our route and can not wait to hand them all out!! Are you still not sure about donating a Door Prize or attending State Convention? Maybe you will never be sure....that's what makes dream makers and risk takers so fascinating...the deeper you go into the unknown, the more uncertain you may become! But then you flee and run out that door .....to Il State Convention, perhaps you may bring a Door Prize with you? The speculators cheer you on and before you know it, the weekend is gone. At the end .....you might say to yourself "That was Amazing"  or you may ask yourself "How did I do that?" That question compels you to keep making the journey from the usual to the magical! Every course obstacle you cross leads you to the opportunities you might have otherwise lost.


Are you the type who runs where the brave dare not go? Do you have a crafty or artsy side? Step out and donate a homemade craft as a Door Prize. Perhaps you have a favorite store or restaurant you refuel at? Contribute a gift card that can be placed in the winners hands! And let us not forget the possibilities of cash prizes! 


1)  Contribute Your Door Prizes! We invite you to bring your door prize contributions to Illinois State Convention and we will have a golden table to place them on. Don't keep us on tenterhooks as to what you will be donating and shoot us both a email to fill us in for the final countdown. Our emails are: elfaki.tasabih at outlook.com and michtlua at aol.com. Please make sure it is labeled in large print, beautiful Braille, or both so we can identify it. If you would like a shout out when your prize is awarded include your name and let us know.

2.  Cash Prize Donations via Zelle: If you would prefer to contribute a dash of cash, it's a easy sprint! Send your donations through Zelle to treasurer at nfbofillinois.org and contact NFBIL Treasurer Michal Nowicki to confirm receipt of the donation. Let him know if you have specific instructions on how you would like the prize to be awarded. For example, if you donate $50.00 and would like it split into multiple door prizes, just inform Michal. Don't forget to add a note on the Zelle donation indicating it's for Door Prizes at the IL State Convention.

  
3. Be Present to Win! You must be present in the room to win! Mark those calendars, reserve a spot for your bib, and get ready for take off!
