It’s your co-chairs, Tasabih (Abbu) and Michelle, here to bring some autumn
excitement to your inbox! 🍂 As we prepare for another memorable
convention, we’re ready to add a touch of crisp fall air and seasonal charm
to the mix. Are you set to turn challenges into opportunities—while
embracing the beauty of October?


This year’s theme is “Turning Obstacles into Opportunities,” and what
better way to do that than with some warm and wonderful door prizes? If
you’re planning to bring a prize, let us know before the convention so we
can keep things organized, like a well-raked pile of leaves! You can reach
me at elfaki.tasabih at outlook.com or Michelle at michtlua at aol.com. Don’t
leave us out in the cold—we’re looking forward to hearing from you!


When you arrive at the convention, bring your fall-themed prize labeled in
large print or braille (extra kudos for both!) so we can easily identify
it. Want a little recognition when your prize is awarded? Just add your
name to the label—no tricks, only autumn treats!


For those who prefer a cash prize contribution, you can send your donations
via Zelle to treasurer at nfbofillinois.org. Be sure to contact NFBIL
Treasurer Michal Nowicki to confirm your donation and let him know if you’d
like your contribution split into multiple prizes. Don’t forget to note
it’s for the Door Prizes at the State Convention.

Remember, to win, you need to be present—so don’t miss out on a festive,
fall-filled event and a chance to grab some amazing prizes!
