It’s your co-chairs, Tasabih (Abbu) and Michelle, here to bring some
Halloween excitement to your inbox! 🎃 As we prepare for another thrilling
convention, we’re ready to add a little mystery and fun to the mix. Are you
set to turn challenges into opportunities—while keeping it spooky?

This year’s theme is “Turning Obstacles into Opportunities,” and what
better way to do that than with some frightfully fantastic door prizes? If
you’re planning to bring a prize, let us know before the convention so we
can keep the hauntings smooth and organized! You can reach me at

us—we’re looking forward to hearing from you!


When you arrive at the convention, bring your spooky surprise labeled in
large print or braille (extra kudos for both!) so we can easily identify
it. Want a little spotlight when your prize is awarded? Just add your name
to the label—no tricks, just treats!

For those who prefer a cash prize treat, you can send your donations via
Zelle to treasurer at nfbofillinois.org. Be sure to contact NFBIL Treasurer
Michal Nowicki to confirm your donation and let him know if you want your
spooky cash split into multiple prizes. Don’t forget to note it’s for the
Door Prizes at the State Convention.

Remember, to win, you need to be present—so make sure to show up for a
ghoulishly good time and grab some of those wicked prizes!

We can’t wait to see you all and make this year’s convention both
hauntingly fun and wildly successful. Together, we’ll turn obstacles into
