Yes, this is something to truly be grateful for! The Dignity in Pay Act is a bill specific to Illinois and it will await the signature of Governor J.B. Pritzker, which I don't imagine should take long...he has been a strong proponent for the bill.

Thanks to everyone for all of your work to get the bill across the finish line. Our voices were heard from the hundreds of witness slips that favored the bill.

Today the Dignity and Pay Act, HB793 passed the Illinois State Senate 43 to 11. This is wonderful news and congratulations to the affiliate who has advocated very hard on this topic over the past several years.
