[IL-Talk] Dignity in Pay Act

Hello,

 

We need your help to get the Dignity in Pay Act past the finish line. The
bill will eliminate the 14c provision of the Fair Labor Standards Act that
allows businesses that contract with the state to pay subminimum wages to
people with disabilities. The National Federation of the Blind has been
fervently working for decades to remove this barrier to integrated and
competitive employment. It is essential that you call your state legislator
tomorrow if you live in one of the following districts and ask them to
support the Dignity in Pay Act, HB 793:
