The one time distinguished trumpet player-record
producer-artist-philosopher Herb Alpert asked how it might change our
lives if we could walk, talk, rhyme dqueak and squalk with the animals.
well, next Saturday, July 27 all of us in Chicago have the chance to
find the answer to this question among other things. Yes, we will be
gathering again at the Landmark Cafe in Lincoln Park Zoo for our annual
picnic. It is at this picnic where we get a chance to kick back, relax
and simply socialize. Of course, if you wish to rome the zoo and find
out what it might be like to coexist with the animals, it is entirely upto you.
Whatever you choose to do, you may at your discression, bring in your
own picnic fare, or you may purchase delicious food from the Lincoln
Park Cafe. The picnic itself begins at noon. So, if you are looking to
mneet new friends, socialize with old friends, grab some sun and have a
good time, look no further. If you are a Chicago chapter member,
Lincoln Park Zoo is the place to be and July 27 is the time to be there.
