You are so right Connie about the tops breaking on the fifty fifty canes
vary easily.
I love mine and I have had good luck with wrapping a bit of tape on the top
and it has kept them from breaking when falling.

Tony, I have two and I like them. Just be careful about dropping it. The top
breaks easily. In my opinion, they are the only folding cane that comes
close to resembling a straight cane.

Thanks to all who responded on the cane question.  I have been folding my
multi-fold cane in half for many years now, I was pleased to find that NFB
has a 50/50 cane.  I ordered mine this morning and can't wait to get it. 
Yeah, I know it is pretty silly to get excited about a new cane, but what
the heck....
