Right now, Illinois has only one team entered in the Braille Readers Are Leaders adult team of the year contest.  That is the ABLE Group, formed from within the Blackhawk Chapter.  

A team consists of 2 to 5 people, and the contest goes through January 4, and started on November 1.  Joining BRAL is a great way to spur your Braille reading, and forming a team gives you a boost from those within your team.  

The NFBI Braille Literacy Committee wants to encourage the formation of more teams.  We in Illinois ought to be in BRAL with more than just one team!
