Perhaps someone on this list familiar with IRS regs can answer my question 
which would not apply for my 2009 return anyway. I have a guide dog and was 
told that I could not claim her expenses unless it was 14% of my income in 
which case it could then be considered a medical expense. If I were to 
purchase an ID Mate Omni for about $1200 and combine with my guide dog's 
expenses, this could possibly be around 14% of my income. Does anyone know 
if one can count the purchase of technology in this way and, if so, is there 
an IRS citing that I could use for my tax preparer next year?
Any advice would be appreciated.
