Next Saturday, April 12, the NFBI Chicago Chapter will hold its monthly meeting. There will be a Membership Committee meeting at 12:00 p.m. Following at 1:00 p.m. will be the regular business meeting. We will not have a program this month. In place of the program, we will have our annual chapter elections. In order to be eligible to vote members must have paid their dues at least thirty (30) days in advance and have attended at least one (1) meeting during the prior twelve months. Our constitution may be found on our website www.nfbofillinois.org, under state and local constitutions.
After the regular meeting we will have our annual Meal Appeal Auction. We need auction items. Cookbooks, baked goods, cooking utensils and small appliances, restaurtant gift certificates, coffee or tea, small baking dishes or pans etc. are welcome. If you donate used items, please make sure they are clean and in good working order.
Also, please refer to the post by Ronza Othman earlier this week about "Blindsight".
