Hello John, I just thought I would offer my opinion for what it's worth. I
am an avid braille reader. I was born blind so, I began reading braille
when I was a young child. Although it was difficult I think it is important
for a person who is blind or low vision to have braille reading skills. I
am currently a college student, and I do use e-text and books from RFBND but
I still love to read braille and I use it when ever possible. I think it
helps me memorize material better and it helps to keep me focused. Hope this
helps
Chris
