Spring is here, finally, and the time is perfect to get out and enjoy it.  Now there's a perfect opportunity for you to combine that pleasure with a little work and study.  The Legislative Committee of NFBI is organizing a series of visits to each of the Congressional offices here in Illinois.  We will be following up on the issues which we presented to them during the Washington Seminar in early February and also sharing our mission and enthusiasm as Federationists with them back in their home offices.  One comment that we heard most often while visiting in Washington was: "Come to see us when we're back home in our local offices."  So, now is the time folks.  Right now we're dealing with issues relating to Books for the Blind as well as compatible technology, social security etc.  Please let us know that you are interested and available to help with these contacts. There is a lot of work to do, but we will do I.  Next year when we visit Washington, every office will remember and know who we are and what we represent.
